It isn't necessary to check pH or EC in your Salad Table but it certainly is an option for the more tech-savvy. We have developed our nutrient-to-water quantities to provide you with an EC of around 1.7

This will vary when tested with an EC meter due to your water supply but the suggested nutrient quantities should always be used regardless.

pH varies as you add nutrients and as the nutrient tank drops. Different varieties of plants like different pH levels so it is a good idea to let it alter so all varieties get the optimum level at some stage.
