What can I grow? - We recommend growing all types of herbs and smaller varieties of vegetables. Here's a small list of some of some of varieties that Denis has grown on his Salad Table Kitchen Garden.

How much power does it use? - Max of 24 watts when light and pump are running together
How does the pump work? - The pump simply circulates the water in the 3.5L tank to stop it from going stagnant and to oxygenate for better hydroponic growing conditions.
How easy is it to maintain? - Very easy... once every few weeks or between harvests simply wipe out the reservoir, rinse the filter and fill with water and nutrient.
Periodically inspect the water level via the water level indicator or by lifting the lid. You should check more often as the plants grow larger. When refilling is needed, follow the directions below.
How much water and nutrient do I use? - when the reservoir is filled with 3.5L of water, add 17.5ml of part A and 17.5ml of part B nutrient that is supplied in the kit. When topping up, use 5ml of part A and 5ml of part B for every 1L of water. If using another type of nutrient, including from our store, follow the directions on the nutrient package.
