Problem solving Mini Salad Table, Tower or Vertical Salad Table pumpsUpdated 4 months ago

If you are experiencing a pump problem please carry out the troubleshooting steps below (and refer the troubleshooting videos in this section) -

  • STEP 1. Your pump is designed to automatically switch off in the event of running dry or if a blockage has occurred. Once the water has been refilled or the blockage removed, it is VERY IMPORTANT to turn on the main switch at the PowerPoint and then disconnect and reconnect the low voltage pump lead to reset and start the pump. This is the lead that comes out of the nutrient tank and NOT the 240v lead that plugs into the PowerPoint.
  • Ensure no roots have grown into your nutrient container and blocked the inlet. If so, remove the blockage and carry out STEP 1 above.
  • If you have a filter connected to your pump ensure is not blocked by carrying out the following cleaning procedure - remove the filter and unscrew the cap containing clay balls. Remove the mesh screen and clay balls (if fitted). Reattach the filter to the pump and carry out STEP 1 above.
  • If the steps above are not successful, remove the filter and discard it. It is not a necessary component.

Note - the filter included with your Salad Table can be modified by removing the clay balls and the fine mesh screen. DO NOT remove the mesh screen without also removing the clay balls as your pump will be damaged and the warranty will be void.
