Problem solving Premium Salad Table pump issues (Medium & Large)Updated 4 months ago

If you are experiencing a pump problem please carry out the troubleshooting steps below:
  • If there is a filter in the front of the pump remove and clean as required
  • leave the front cover and filter off for the following checks
  • remove the pipe from the pump that runs to the Salad Table
  • flush the pump through the front with a garden hose (full pressure)
  • then reverse flush through the pipe fitting back into the pump
  • now flush the entire plumbing through the pipe to the Salad Table that you removed from the pump
  • flush the plumbing in reverse through each of the 3 or 4 outlet holes. You may have to remove the channel lids
  • check that the pump impeller still spins (while the pump is off) by poking something thin into the front section and attempting to turn it. This may free up the impeller if something is caught or if it is sticky
  • ensure the front cover is in the fully open position as this will ensure maximum flow
  • replace the front cover and turn the pump on
If the pump has run dry then this may have caused damage and the warranty is void. We do have pumps on our website if this is the case. Even if it has run dry, the procedure above may get it working again.
